Add Dispatched to your assistant
Dispatched exposes a remote Model Context Protocol (MCP) server over Streamable HTTP at https://dispatchedhome.com/mcp. Public discovery and search are available without a Dispatched account. Protected account and transaction tools require the permissions and authorization advertised by the server. Follow the assistant’s sign-in flow when it requests one; never paste a provider API key into a conversation.
These are custom connection instructions. They do not mean Dispatched is listed in an assistant’s public app directory or available on every plan. For the customer experience, read Dispatched and AI assistants. Business owners should use provider software connections.
Gemini CLI
A public extension is available for Gemini CLI, the developer command-line tool. This is separate from the consumer Gemini app.
gemini extensions install https://github.com/milad-sketch/dispatched-gemini-extensionThen start gemini and ask “what is the Dispatched provider network status?”. Source and releases: github.com/milad-sketch/dispatched-gemini-extension.
Claude
Add Dispatched as a custom connector. In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, then Add custom connector, where your account supports it. Name it Dispatched and use the URL https://dispatchedhome.com/mcp. Follow any authorization prompt for protected tools. Then ask Claude to check the Dispatched provider network status.
ChatGPT
Add https://dispatchedhome.com/mcp as a custom connection through the developer capabilities available to your account or workspace. Account eligibility and administrator settings determine whether this option appears. The server returns text and structured content; custom visual cards depend on the host. If custom connections are unavailable, use the Dispatched conversation.
What the tools do
- Discovery
- Provider network status, home service business search and detail, directory search and detail.
- Requests
- Create a non binding appointment request with a preferred and backup time, check its status, respond to a proposal, and cancel it.
- Cleaning transactions
- Capability-gated offer search, explicit selection, booking preparation and revalidation, authorization, confirmation, status, cancellation, and rescheduling. Tool availability does not establish that a provider can perform the action.
Rules every host inherits
- Results say whether they are sample or live. Sample results state that no live price or availability was checked and that nothing can be booked from them.
- No offer is ever preselected. Choosing one is a separate explicit act by the customer.
- Protected tools require the advertised account permissions. Consequential actions also require explicit customer authorization and replay protection.
- No business is contacted until the customer explicitly authorizes that contact.
- Do not put provider credentials or card details into a conversation. Customers pay the provider directly through its own payment process.
- A request is not a booking. Nothing is confirmed until the business’s own system confirms it.
Current network state
Availability changes as businesses connect and verify their capabilities. Ask get_provider_network_status and inspect each search result’s current capability and booking state. A public profile, a software connection, and a confirmed booking are different states. Where no live offer is available, use the appointment request path and wait for the provider’s response. Never treat sample results as a live offer.
For platform reviewers
Begin with the read-only get_provider_network_status and search_home_service_providers tools. Public discovery needs no account. Protected account and transaction evaluation requires a suitable reviewer account, scoped authorization, and an approved test fixture. Check refusals, duplicate submissions, missing coverage, and recovery against that fixture; do not place real bookings or contact businesses merely to evaluate the connection. Questions and reviewer access: support.
