What the application collects

Business information: legal and trade name, website, business phone, the home-service categories you cover, your service area, the operating system you use, how customers get a price and a time from you, and whether you accept card payments online. Representative information: the authorized representative’s name, role or title, work email, and phone. Your confirmations that you are authorized to apply and that you understand an application does not activate anything. If you arrive from a directory page, the opaque id of that listing.

Why it is collected

So a person at Dispatched can review whether your business is ready for the network, contact the authorized representative about that review, and connect the application to your directory listing when you claim it. Nothing is decided automatically, and no automatic email or outreach is sent to you, to your business, or to anyone outside Dispatched.

Where it is stored

Server-side, in Dispatched’s own durable database, reachable only by Dispatched’s server-side code. It is not published on your public profile, not shared with customers, and not shared with AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini.

The internal alert we send ourselves

A successful application sends one short internal email to a monitored Dispatched mailbox, so a person knows to look at it. It carries the minimum needed to find the record: the business name, the representative’s name and work email, the primary service, the operating system you named, the application reference, the time, and, for a claim, the directory listing id. It does not carry your service area, your workflow notes, or anything else in the application; those stay in the secure record. The email is sent through Dispatched’s transactional email processor, Resend, which acts as a subprocessor: it handles the message in order to deliver it, and keeps its own delivery logs.

That message goes only to Dispatched. Submitting still sends no email or outreach to you, to your business, or to anyone outside Dispatched, and it does not connect, verify, activate, publish, book, or charge anything.

What an application is not

An application is not activation, verification, or bookability. Customers only ever see a business as available to book after its capabilities are verified and a human activation review is complete. A separate, later step you take part in.

How long it is kept

180 days after submission (P180D). If your business progresses into onboarding, only the details needed for onboarding are transferred to that record and the original application is deleted within 30 days of the transfer. Each deletion leaves a record without personal data (application id, dates, reason, notice version).

Corrections and removal

Write to privacy@dispatchedhome.com, a mailbox read by a person. We acknowledge a verified correction or removal request within five business days and complete it within 30 calendar days. Removal deletes the application itself; a non-personal deletion record is kept.

Legal, fraud, and security holds

If a documented legal, fraud, or security matter requires it, an application can be placed on hold; a held application is excluded from deletion until the hold is lifted, and the hold reason and reference are recorded.

Abuse controls

Submission rates are limited using a keyed hash of the requesting network address; the raw address is never stored. Duplicate submissions are recognised by an idempotency key and return the original receipt.

Record of this notice
